Compilation is disabled because compilation has been rewritten by an extension that can cause compatability issues. Deleting this rewrite may solve the issue: Aitoc_Aitsys_Model_Compiler_Process
Posted by Denis Parmon on 30 November 2012 06:26 PM
This issue is caused by the Extendware_Core extension and have no direct relation to our extension.|
We have the Aitoc_Aitsys_Model_Compiler_Process class which is used to improve compatibility of our extensions with Magento Compiler.
The Extendware_Core extension does the same for Extendware extensions but in the process there is a check for any other extension which uses similar functionality.
If such functionality is found then Extendware_Core extension totally disables compiler functionality.
Unfortunately there are no real checks for conflicts in process - just the check for existing functionality in other extensions and it's not clear why they fully disable compiler by default.
To restore compiler functionality you should change the following setting in Magento admin area
Extendware -> Manage Extension -> Extendware Core -> Configuration -> Developer -> Disable Unknown Compiler
If this change will have no effect, please, contact Extendware technical support team and ask them to disable compatibility check in the protectFromBadCompilation method of the ExtendwareInternal_EWCore_Model_Override_Mage_Compiler_Process class.
We cannot perform this change as the ExtendwareInternal_EWCore_Model_Override_Mage_Compiler_Process is encrypted.
